Motion Miles Logistics provides same-day courier and delivery services to businesses and individuals across Texas. While our primary operations are based in Austin and Central Texas, we serve clients statewide. Service availability in specific areas may vary based on driver capacity, route logistics, and operational conditions at the time of booking.
- Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday: By advanced booking only. All Sunday operations are subject to the After-Hours Surcharge as outlined in our Pricing Policy.
Delivery hours are subject to change without notice. Same-day and urgent requests are subject to driver availability and may incur additional fees.
Orders are processed during regular business hours. Orders received after business hours or on holidays will be processed on the next available business day. Upon successful booking, clients will receive a confirmation email with an estimated pickup and delivery window.
All deliveries include a complimentary 15-minute waiting period at both the pickup and delivery locations. Waiting time beyond 15 minutes may result in detention charges as described in the Pricing Policy.
We treat every delivery with care and professionalism. If your delivery requires special handling — including oversized items, fragile goods, temperature-sensitive cargo, high-value shipments, or deliveries requiring access to secure facilities — please notify us at the time of booking.
Motion Miles Logistics does not provide assembly, disassembly, or installation services. All items must be ready for transport at the time of driver arrival.
Motion Miles Logistics documents all completed deliveries with photo confirmation and, where applicable, recipient signature. Proof of delivery records are maintained in our system and are available to the Client upon request.
While we make every effort to meet scheduled pickup and delivery times, factors such as traffic conditions, weather events, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control may cause delays. We will communicate any significant delays to you as soon as possible.
If no individual is present at the designated delivery location during the scheduled window, our driver will attempt to contact the Client using the information provided at booking.
Default Unattended Delivery (Safe Drop): Unless the Client has explicitly selected a "Signature Required" or "Hand to Recipient" designation at the time of booking, the Company's standard operational protocol is to complete the delivery by leaving the shipment in a secure area at the delivery address (including but not limited to front doors, office reception desks, mailrooms, or loading docks).
Transfer of Liability: The moment the driver completes an unattended drop and uploads a photo confirmation as proof of delivery (POD), the delivery is legally deemed complete. Motion Miles Logistics assumes zero liability for any subsequent loss, theft, weather damage, or destruction of cargo left unattended under this default protocol.
Proof of Delivery for Unattended Deliveries: When a shipment is delivered under the Safe Drop protocol and no recipient is available, Motion Miles Logistics may complete the POD record using a notation such as "Safe Drop Completed – No Recipient Available," "Delivered – No Recipient Present," or a substantially similar designation. Photo confirmation, GPS location data, delivery timestamps, and related delivery records maintained by the Company shall constitute valid proof of delivery for unattended shipments.
Client Acknowledgment of Unattended Deliveries: The Client acknowledges that unattended deliveries carry an increased risk of theft, loss, vandalism, weather-related damage, or other events occurring after delivery has been completed. By selecting unattended delivery, failing to request a signature-required service, or otherwise permitting delivery without an authorized recipient present, the Client accepts such risks upon completion of delivery and proof of delivery documentation by Motion Miles Logistics.
Controlled Shipments (No Safe Drop): For shipments where the Client has requested a mandatory signature, or where the cargo is restricted by law, temperature-sensitive, or inherently unsuitable for an unattended drop, the driver will not leave the items.
Failed Attempts and Redelivery Fees: If a controlled shipment cannot be completed due to an unavailable recipient or restrictive access, the cargo will be returned to our facility at the Client's expense, and any subsequent redelivery attempt or return-to-origin action will be subject to an additional fee equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the original base delivery rate.
The Client shall not tender for delivery any items prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local law, including but not limited to:
- Hazardous materials or flammable substances
- Illegal substances or contraband
- Live animals
- Currency or negotiable instruments
- Explosives or weapons
- Provide accurate and complete address and contact information at the time of booking.
- Ensure all items are properly packaged and ready for transport at the time of driver arrival.
- Be available or have an authorized recipient present during the scheduled delivery window if opting out of default unattended drop protocols.
- Notify us in advance of any access restrictions, security requirements, building protocols, or special instructions.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the items tendered for delivery.
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Travis County, Texas.
